What is included in a seasonal snow management plan?
A seasonal plan is one number for the whole winter, agreed in September, that a brutal February does not change. It normally covers plowing, walkway clearing, salting, storm monitoring, pre-season and post-season inspections, and a service report after every event.
Before the first storm the property is walked with you, obstacles are staked, existing conditions are photographed and priority areas are confirmed. After the season it is walked again and documented, and any repairs that are on JRW are handled.
The number is built from the past three years of snowfall history for that county rather than from a guess. Ask that the proposal list which services sit inside the number and which are billed separately.
