How emergency calls work

  1. Call (973) 459-0074. During winter storms the line is answered around the clock. Tell us the property type, location and what you need open first.
  2. We check the routes. Contract clients come first; that's the deal they signed. If a crew can reach you without shorting them, you get a time window on the phone.
  3. Crew arrives and clears priorities first. Entrances, fire lanes, docks or whatever keeps you legal and open, then the rest of the lot.
  4. You get the paperwork. Even one-off work gets a service log with times and materials, because your liability doesn't care that it was an emergency.

Built for the big ones

When a regional storm outruns any single fleet, we activate strategic partnerships with vetted snow contractors across northern New Jersey. That surge capacity is how contracted properties stay on schedule in a blizzard, and it's what lets us say yes to more emergency calls than a one-fleet outfit could.

Honest expectations

In a major storm, everyone's phone rings at once. Emergency capacity is real but not unlimited, and contract clients hold their route positions. If winter no-shows are becoming your pattern, the durable fix is a seasonal plan with a trigger depth, so next storm nobody has to call anyone.

Good candidates for an emergency call

  • Your contractor didn't show and tenants are calling
  • Your contractor's truck broke down mid-storm
  • Your contractor stopped answering the phone
  • Piles blocking fire lanes, hydrants or sight lines
  • Ice event outran your in-house crew
  • Lot needs to open for a shift, delivery or event
  • Property changed hands mid-winter with no snow contract

The 911 side of snow (a different thing entirely)

Everything above is commercial emergency service: paid work, dispatched fast, for businesses whose snow contractor failed them. This is something else.

Our founder, James Watson, is a volunteer EMT and 1st Lieutenant of the Wantage First Aid Squad. He also founded Sussex County Emergency Snow Removal, a volunteer network of roughly 40 local contractors who clear driveways and roads for police, fire and EMS during serious storms, free of charge to the families involved, so an ambulance never idles behind a snowbank.

That's the standard this company was built around: in a real storm, cleared access isn't a convenience. Sometimes it's the response time. How the volunteer network works.
